BioOra brings life-changing CAR T-cell therapies closer to equal and fair access

About BioOra

Our Mission

Imagine a world where every person who needs it can access advanced, life-changing CAR T-cell therapy.

For people facing serious illness, time is precious. Everyone deserves to have access to the best cancer treatment.

That’s why BioOra and our partners are determined to help create a world where CAR T-cell therapy is accessible to everybody – wherever they live, whatever they earn regardless of background and culture.

Thanks to our relationships with the best in science, health, and innovation – our partners at The Malaghan Institute, Bridgewest Ventures and Callaghan Innovation – BioOra has developed advanced CAR T-cell manufacturing technologies and world class clinical models of care.

Together, we’re helping transform the way CAR T-cell therapies are delivered, so that access to these life-saving cancer treatments is affordable, equal, and fair.

It is working in partnership with Wellington Zhaotai Therapies to trial a ‘third generation’ CAR T cell therapy in New Zealand.

This trial is for cancer patients with relapsed and refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. BioOra is working with the Malaghan Institute to automate the production of CAR T-cells to support clinical trials.
